Hey all. The stock market is at a critical juncture this week. Both the Dow and the S&P500 are hitting critical technical levels. The market will either break to the upside or crash through support. Until this morning I was optimistic that we would bounce off the current levels and have a bear market rally. The markets are oversold. However with the news this morning that the Administration is planning to increase taxes on business and increase capital gains taxes, we just might struggle. I understand the need to address our burgeoning debt but both of those tax increases are not friendly to the market, Wall Street or Main Street. Stay tuned.

I've never put much stock in the stock market... I've always like to have more control of my money than that.

Thank you for your comment. Don't give up completely on the market but I think many have learned that it needs to be just one of several legs of the stool and not the only way to secure a financial future.
