Yes! Imagine Internet marketing strategies, which guarantee to explode your business
This is the secret to the best, bulletproof marketing strategies, which bring in consistent, highly qualified leads, who will want to buy from you again and again. Can you imagine creating a list of followers who choose to opt in because they like you? They choose to follow you. Your product or service becomes the secondary because as an Internet marketer your first job is to market and sell yourself, to get people to like and trust you first. To do this you have to tap into people’s emotions with your words through your marketing strategies. Whether written or spoken, what you say and how you say it has to allow people to relate to you, make them smile, laugh, cry, imagine; get involved with you, your story, and finally, how you can help them.

The internet is a busy, busy place right now as more and more people are leveraging the massive opportunities the internet offers as a salvation from regular employment, or worse... unemployment. Whether you’re just starting your own internet business, you’re already on the go but want to enhance your current internet marketing strategies, or you’re dabbling with the idea of starting one and want some more information before you make the leap, I can guarantee this information will set you up with everything you need to improve and bulletproof your internet marketing strategies and set you up for success.

First and foremost, before we get started on the actual strategies, you need to get comfortable with the fact that to survive on the Internet today you need to stand out as an individual and be recognizable, which means you must focus all your marketing strategies on personal branding. The trust levels people have when they’re searching for a solution to their problems is at an all time low, so they need a face, personality and a story to relate to and become familiar with. The most powerful thing you can offer a person on first introduction as they get to know you is your personal story. Which means you need to describe where you used to be (probably in a similar situation that they are in currently), what you discovered, how you found your way out your problem into your solution, what you’re doing now, and how it has changed your life. This structure allows them to see that you’re just like them, they know you’ve felt the same pain and problems they’re experiencing, they can see what you did is also manageable to them. So you’re breaking down the space between you, perceived by them as ‘success’ and ‘failure’, which can seem like a huge to a struggling person, especially if they have never experienced the success before that they are aiming towards now. You must encourage and nurture them within the context of your story, allowing them to see “it’s so easy, you can definitely do this!” Don’t directly say it, but imply in within the message your story. People must feel inspired and motivated to act after reading your story.

The biggest secret to successful Internet marketing strategies is as follows….. Diversify.

Don’t put all your eggs in one basket; don’t rely just on Google, especially at the moment, as they’re a bucking bronco with our industry. Thanks to the dishonest minority selling rubbish and conning people, Google are coming down hard to terminate all the fluff, so only the cream rises to the top. The good news about this is that if you can succeed effectively then you will much more square footage to play because all the competition will have been destroyed by the Google slap, so with a little more due diligence you can really thrive under these circumstances. So what you need to do is have as many forms of marketing and branding out there are as possible, which I will list and go through now. They are as follows:

- Video marketing

- Article marketing

- Press release marketing

- Banner advertising

- Auto-responder emails

- Paid search engines

- Google, Yahoo, Bing

- Social media marketing

- Blogging

- Viral email distribution

- Squidoo marketing

- Discussion forum marketing

- Write eBooks

- Webinars and teleseminars

- Give away free reports

- Focus all your campaigns and strategies on KEYWORDS!

1. Video marketing

Video marketing targets highly qualified leads (using keyword optimisation) because they’re choosing to watch you give them a lesson/ some value, and it’s a much more personal experience because they’re face to face with a real person, rather than reading dead words. If they decide they can connect to you and they like what you have given them they will follow you. The magic and wonder of video marketing is that they get a multi-dimensional experience from you; they can make eye contact (provided you look into the camera as if you’re talking to a real person- try not to do the rabbit in the headlight expression!), they can read the expressions on your face, smile with your smile, interpret the tone in your voice. This makes it an emotional experience, because people unconsciously mirror other people’s facial expressions when they’re interacting, and if you can give them a positive interactive experience they will naturally feel good about you. The powerful thing that this does is break down their trust barriers. When they perceive you as honest, authentic, genuine, generous, warm and approachable you have gone from being a ‘marketer’ to being a real person who they can relate to. When video marketing it’s so crucial to understand that people are not buying the product or service you’re talking about, they’re buying you. You can’t hide behind your offer, be out there, be open, be bold and be comfortable with being who you really are because people unconsciously pick up if you’re being authentic or not. So be that leader people want to follow and you’ll be amazed at your results. This also solidifies your personal branding and every video you do is another source for people to come and find out more about you. On top of this, search engines just eat videos up like chocolate on natural rankings, Google loves videos, and so if you have videos for a certain keyword/ key phrase you have a much higher chance of getting to first page with that video. This increases your visibility, ranking and authority as a leader, within the organic listings (the left hand side results in Google). One hugely powerful way to get your video top first page ranking within hours is to submit your videos to Traffic Geyser, which is a service specifically geared towards search engine optimisation and personal branding. They submit your video to over 50 social media sites, which increases your traffic and visibility not just on those specific sites, but having one video on over 50 social media sites will boost your rankings through the roof so quickly. This again just tightly fastens you down as an authority and leader even more. Traffic Geyser is the brainchild of Mike Koenigs, and the website is Traffic Geyser where you can receive more training and in depth education on how to optimize and structure your videos to give yourself more authority.

2. Article marketing

Articles are a fantastic way of targeting keywords and key-phrases and getting your content out there. This helps your Google organic listings, and you can build an independent authority status within article distribution sites as you get hundreds of them out there! This again is another notch on your belt towards authority and leadership. The other bonus that you get from article marketing is that when you do it everyday you quickly speed up and get used to copywriting, which makes you comfortable and confident when it comes to writing ads and structuring future articles and videos, etc. A great book for powerful copywriting is hypnotic writing by Joe Vitale, which will help you understand how to write in a way to draw people in, and which allows you to talk about your product/ service in the optimum way. But at the end of the day, the only way to get good at writing is just to do it, there’s no shortcuts, just pump them out! Set yourself a goal of 10 in 2 weeks, you’ll soon start tracking your speed going up. By getting lots out you’re quickly creating a whole database of value people can get and find out more about you, and what you’re about. It’s so important to be generous and give so much value in your articles. If you spoil people, they will follow you and keep coming back for more, and this makes you even more of an authority and leader, and you come across as very knowledgeable and generous. Just they type of person others will want to work with. Research keywords/ key-phrases and optimise them in your articles and you will get great rankings in Google organic listings, and it gives people more to find out about you when they research you. Make your articles and videos available through links in your social media and blogs; keep everything tightly connected together in your own micro-system on the Internet. The nice thing about article marketing is that it’s very non-direct and relaxed because you’re not actually selling or pitching through articles, you’re giving value. So you have the opportunity to write about whatever your heart desires, anything you feel drawn to that will help people and steer them in the direction of your site eventually. So you can be yourself, be kind and generous, give info on everything you are an expert on or have an interest on and make it relevant to ‘business’. Research hot keywords for our industry and do your research on what you can put into that article, and write it, so be an expert by utilizing somebody else’s expertise! It doesn’t matter that it doesn’t originate from you; the fact is you’re helping them by passing it on. Internet marketing strategies are universal, and you’re here to give it to others. So accumulate wherever you can, put it all in your own words (Don’t plagiarise!), or give it away through personal experience. Then have a call to action at the end of each article, either your blog or landing page, whichever is more relevant to the article. Make sure you tell them where to go as well, don’t rely on them just to do it, point out the obvious.

3. Press release marketing

Press releases are very similar in theory to articles but their structure is different and you must understand the differences of your press releases will fail to submit. Firstly press releases are an announcement of an event, they’re an actual thing that took place or happened and you’re announcing it. Articles are purely subjective and you can write about what you like, in which ever person you prefer for each individual article; they’re much more free to structure. But press releases must be an announcement of actual real fact, and they must always be written in the third person. You are writing it, and it refers to you, but you are writing it as if a reporter is writing about you and your involvement with the event. So you must also put plenty of own quotes in the text too, as if you are being interviewed. The great thing about press releases is that if you go for one of the paid options you will get high search engine ranking, often multiple rankings, within 24 hours. Again, remember to have a call to action and link at the end of each press release.

4. Banner advertising

Banner advertising can be very effective when positioned on good sites. It’s important when banner advertising that the ads be extremes; they should either blend into the website as if it were part of the site, or it should stick out like a sore thumb and grab attention; middle ground just won’t do! The other benefits are that you can get great, highly targeted traffic when you put them on relevant sites, where the person on that particular site would be open to exploring an offer like the one you’re offering. Don’t just put them anywhere. Make sure you test first, so always get a fixed rate for one month first, never get a variable rate because it will so expensive, negotiate with the site owner, get a one month test fixed rate, and if it pulls good traffic then you can go for a long term fixed rate. If not then pull the plug and try somewhere else!

5. Auto-responders

You absolutely must have an auto-responder because you need your own list. By having your own list you have permission to market to people who have already bought from you or have chosen to opt in with you. This means free advertising to highly qualified leads through email! Generally you give value in the majority of your weekly emails; give 4/5 value emails with links to videos or articles or some value for them, the 1/5 email to pitch to them with an offer, so people are much more likely to buy from you and trust you because you’re giving far more value than selling. The best auto-responder service is Aweber, and they have plenty of training videos and documents to walk you through the processes, the address is Email Marketing Software, Email Newsletters and Autoresponders by AWeber.

6. Pay Per Click advertising with Google, Yahoo and Bing

PPC is without a doubt the only way to get huge amounts of traffic on a regular basis. To get highly qualified traffic, also, when you target the right keywords or key-phrases. The key to getting highly targeted traffic is to use long-tailed keywords/phrases, as opposed to generic and broad keywords:

e.g. home business = short-tailed home based business Lincolnshire UK = long-tailed and much more targeted.

What this means is that you get less traffic than a generic word would bring, but the quality is so much higher, meaning that you get better conversions, and better people coming through your system, not tyre kickers. The best way to understand Google marketing when you’re getting started is to read Perry Marshall’s definitive guide to adwords.

7. Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

This is optimising all your marketing and words to get higher rankings on the search engine organic listings. This will happen, put simply, when you get many, many clicks on the site/link with that particular keyword. So for instance if you wanted to dominate your name on the rankings you would have you name in plenty of places on each page you want to optimise, and have lots of links on it taking them to other places so it gets a high click through toll. The secret is to saturate your name everywhere you can, so get plenty of social media sites everywhere you can, you tube, have your name as keywords in your press releases, articles, videos, blog, etc, get it everywhere you can and it will soon start showing up.

8. Social media

- Facebook

- Myspace

- Twitter

- LinkedIn

- Squidoo

- Youtube

- Better networker

- Traffic geyser sign ups on social sites

The whole point of social media is that you’re creating plenty of places for people to come and get to know you, as a real person, to relate and connect with you. They want to come and check you out so that they know they’re not getting conned and they know that you’re genuinely who you say you are. It’s critical to understand that people come to you on social media with their guards down because they want to come and get to know you, and if you try to sell to them without their permission you have violated their building trust up to this point and they will delete you and want nothing more to do with you. If people want an offer they will search for an answer to their problem, don’t bombard them with offers when they haven’t asked for it or aren’t expecting it, they will just get annoyed! The way to play it is to have lots of pictures of you e.g travelling, with family, with your partner, having fun, enjoying your lifestyle and freedom. Keep it lifestyle orienated. People love photos, and if they can see that you’re just like them and you’re not trying to be flashy, you’re just being you, their trust will deepen and they will really like you. It’s also a great pace to offer more value, send them links to videos or article that will help them. Send them to links of your own videos or articles, this will get them into your micro-system we spoke about earlier and they will eventually end up at your landing page. So you will get leads this way; it will take longer but they are more qualified.

9. Blogging

Another must is having a personal blog or ‘hub’. This is another chance for people to come and get to know you without being directly sold to, and a great place to send people from videos, articles and press releases if it’s not suitable to send them to your landing page directly. It’s another place for people to come and get to know you, find out what it is that you do, offer more value; give them articles, etc. This is the place that you give them your story that we spoke about earlier. Have videos welcoming them to the site, walk them through it, let them get to know you. Have an auto-responder opt-in to start building a list here too. Do not have a direct link to your landing page from this site because Google will black list you, but you can send them a link to your site in the first welcome email. Have a collage of pictures for your personal branding, a good mix between professional, relaxed, travel, family, partner, hobbies, etc, pictures which will summarize who you are and what you’re about.

These are a few methods that you can use to increase traffic and diversify your internet marketing strategies, but the point is that the more you can do, what ever you do, they will all compound over time. The free marketing methods will take longer to convert and they will require more time, but they all have a very important purpose, because you’re building your personal micro-system, and this will build long-term relationships, and create a loyal following. If you stay consistent and keep adding to them, everyday, they will slowly build up; think of it like investing. You’re choosing low risk, long-term investment with something like an 8% return rate. It begins extremely slowly and seems like grass growing, but give it a little time and it will soon start building momentum, it starts compounding, and all of a sudden you’ll get a big boom! They’ll start flooding in it’s a patience game, but it’s so worth it. Remember that they real wealth is in the back end sales, which come with a loyal following and relationships with your customers, so it’s worth the time and effort. Don’t give up and keep going consistently and you’ll soon see results! If you found this useful and you’d like more training videos and articles go to:
