1 Week Later - $2 per Day

I know. That sounds like a pittance.
$2 per day.
However, this is what two sites are averaging after one week (each). I put 2-3 hours per day into these two sites and will be done with them unless one really starts to take off. If that happens, I'll throw out more backlinks to try to do even better.
So what exactly does this mean?
Worst case, these two sites should do $730 each over the next year. Since SERP ranking doesn't even begin to peak for months, it's likely they'll do much better, but I'll consider worst case.
I spent around 11 hours on each site, including articles and link building. That comes out to $66 per hour if these sites don't improve at all.
That's somewhat of a no-brainer, isn't it?
I just followed the outline in Xfactor's Adsense post. I did a bit of standard backlinking in addition to the articles he advocates, but not enough to substantially skew the results.
If you're struggling, remember that baby steps ($2 per day, in this example) can reach a goal just as surely as leaps. The thing is that anyone can take baby steps.
