When I was first introduced to "blogging", I wasn't quite sure what the real significance was. However,
being one who wanted to try and understand the element, I started a blog. I had really good content, however
no one ever commented on my blog. My next question was, how do I get people to subscribe to my blog?
As my life is so hectic, I didn't really research or get the answers to my questions initially, however,
months later I was introduced to a lead generating system. Through training with that lead generating
system, I begin to understand that the more you create content of value through a variety of resources, the
more people will read your content and then you have a platform where you can direct traffic to whatever
source you desire, whether it's a blog or a website, or a landing page or an affiliate link to sale a product
or service.
The key is learning how to place yourself in position to monetize your blog by literally branding yourself.
What is so wonderful about the world of blogging is that you can absolutely, positively learn how to blog
about whatever you are passionate about and get paid for it. The best part is you can even teach others how
to get paid as well. With my newfound information I would like to share a few pointers that were shared with
me.
Your Blog should Have A Purpose
Your blog should have content that is directed to an audience with common goals and objectives. Just like a
website, you can have more than one if it is necessary. Your blog should be a source of information, and not
just a place to attempt to sell products. As far as ads go that will have to be a personal choice, however
you don't want to have to many ad, as you want the focus to be on your content.
Make sure Your Content is of interest to Your Targeted Market
If you do this correctly, you will have people coming to your blog and commenting on your blog. The goal
here is to create a following. The more present you are with those that 'chose' to follow you, the better
success you will have. Make sure that your posts, are genuine, enlightening and engaging.
Never Have stale Blog
Keep your Blog interesting and full of original content, it is okay to share other people's information and
videos, etc., just make sure that its light, fun and engaging. You never want boring or stale information.
There are many bloggers, so remember that it is up to you to make sure that yourblog is great enough that
people want to come back again and again and even share the resource with their associates.
Your Blog Should be Unique
Make sure that when people come to your blog, they get to know you. As Seth Goldin chimes, "you always want
to stand out in the crowd, be the one that they remember, be different than everyone else". A banner with
your picture is always good, video is even greater. Today video marketingis the new late and great thing,
and the video does not even have to be of you. Make sure your color scheme is basic and complimentary to yur
theme, but still has a flair. Most of all have fun and make your blog unique to you.
Remember, it's a fact that, in order to have wealth you have to learn how to create it for yourself and then
be willing to do what it takes to make it happen. Blogging is the new rich, or havn't you heard?
