Marlon Sanders has a valuable newsletter you should get on. It's been around for years and is not one of those pump and jump crap email lists you see where one only promotes products as an affiliate even they have never bought them.
Anyway, Marlon was recently noting how Tebowing was created and apparently made the owner a couple thousand dollars selling shirts.
So I took the latest controversy starring Tebow, this one generated by Bill Maher, and created my own site.

Interesting exercise to be sure.
Now the next questions are: monetization, getting traffic, and whether the cute '666' motif is good enough to get picked up and go viral like Tebowing.
It's a crapshoot.
For monetization I'll start off with Zazzle. It's easy and I already have an account.
The downside is that my experience with Zazzle is that it is an extremely poor converter. Extremely poor. So we'll see what happens and maybe I will switch to another company.
The other downside is a current primary push for donations to another site. Will someone still want to buy a shirt or bumper sticker?
Don't know. But like anything else, you don't find something out until you try.
(And if anyone is wondering, no, I am not an atheist and I am a big Broncos fan - and sometimes find Maher interesting to watch.)
