Getting mass coverage or creating initial awareness for your product or service couldn’t be easier. If you take advantage of one of the closely guarded secrets of internet marketing - press releases.

Cloaked in mystery, press releases seem to be some sort of dark art but don’t be put off they can work for anyone -including you. They used to be just for the big Public Relations and newspaper journalists but now there has been a revolution and you can get your slice of the action.

Press releases are now open to everyone with the stories carried throughout the net on a global scale offering you unrivalled promotion opportunities. The stories from press releases are not only carried on news sites but also blog as well. These opportunities are waiting for you. Why aren’t you grabbing them? Probably because you, like so many, have no idea how to write or submit a press release and the mere thought of it is putting you off.

The secrets to great press releases are simple.
1. Find a story - the better or more interesting the story the better the coverage you will get. Man made £1 million in one hour is better than £10 in a month.
2. Write it in the right way. There is a format. For example, include the answers to who, what, who, when, where and how and you're off to a good start.
3. Submit it in the right way.

Press releases can open unexpected doors. For example, I once got a call out of the blue from a Jamacan radio station wanting me to appear on air as an expert following a press release I'd issued months earlier!

Because 'm such a nice guy I'm happy to answer some questions about this via pms... because I have bills to pay here's the inevitable plug...

I’ve been a writer/editor for over 25 years and know what makes a good and bad press release and can now offer you the benefit of my experience through my Media Coverage Blueprint.

The great news is that the Media Coverage Blueprint is free and included with the Autopilot Blueprint in the first month of Ballistic Blogging . This is free to all buyers of the Ballistic Blogging Toolkit.
