Who says social bookmarks don't generate traffic?...

Man, oh man. I wish I had discovered this earlier. There is so much information out there and so many great websites to troll through that it is easy to have things fall through the cracks.
So, let's say that you are trying to stay up to date with something like SEO or Internet Marketing?
Well, you could run the route of simply finding blogs and websites by accident OR you could get more proactive and actually subscribe to the RSS feeds of tags in bookmarking sites like delicio.us or magnolia.
Every morning, I wake up and can spend 20-30 minutes trolling through my google reader for good reads or information on sites that I would otherwise have no clue existed.
Anyway, I was thinking....if I do this, wouldn't others do it as well? And if so, wouldn't that be another benefit to submitting to bookmarking sites...for people like me who are the equivalent of a virtual sponge hunting for good content?
Just a thought though...
