ClickBank - How to Quickly Find Affiliate Programs Which Will Always Make You Money

Posted 12-11-2009 at 02:43 PM by longdrv4u

I found this article interesting and thought you could pick up a few tips on choosing a clickbank product.

There's no point building a business which is outdated or manufacturing something that nobody wants and the same is true when it comes to making money online, why would you promote a product that doesn't have buyers?.
ClickBank contains many excellent affiliate programs for digital download products and this is where I recommend you start. There are three things you will need to take into account when your trying to distinguish a profitable program to work with..get this right and you'll be laughing all the way to the bank, get it wrong and it will be a waste of your valuable time.
OK.. now you need to head over to the ClickBank marketplace..and sign up for a free account.
In the ClickBank marketplace you have options from which to chose a categories, Choosing a category is really down to the individual, having said that I would point out that starting your new career promoting anything Business opportunity or Internet marketing related products will be the quickest way to getting very disappointed. So be warned!...cut your teeth on the easy stuff and make some money before you enter that market.
What to look for:
Look for commission of 60% or more, this again is really down to personal choice but personally I wont touch anything which pays less than 60% it just isn't worth my time and effort. Most of the digital products listed on ClickBank sell for around $30-$70, so if you stick to the 60% rule your minimum commission per sale will be $18.
You might find products which are offering commissions of up to 75% which is great if the product is up to it, but don't get involved just because of the high pay out after all 75% of nothing is $0.
Exceptions to the 60% rule
Yes there are a couple...
1) When the product has a high price, for example if the price is over $100 dollars 50% is fair but you will still need to make sure the product and sales page is good
2) Recurring billing which is a subscription-based ClickBank product. Although the initial sale commission may be a little on the low side you get a commission paid every month for the same customer as long as they stay signed up. Many recurring subscription products have a long life-span which can ad up nicely.
I currently promote a subscription based diet product for which I receive $10 per person per month for the duration of their subscription, this one product earns me a recurring $470 a month at the moment and that's for doing nothing other than the initial promotion. With these sorts of products look for around 40% or even a little less if the product is very good.

Copy my simple strategy which took me from $0 to $20,144.24 working 1 hour a day. You can download it here for FREE Click Here.
