online since 1999 and have learned a thing or two.
It is unlikely you will find great life-changing insights in my
ramblings... but who knows, maybe something you read here

It's not that people are afraid of work. Many are not.
Many are willing to work.
What they are not prepared-for is to work consistently.
The work doesn't have to be hard... but it does more or
less need to be done every day.
Becoming a successful entrepreneur online (or in any
context) is a matter of getting in shape to succeed,
mentally, and also keeping in shape.
Think of yourself like an athlete. You may have times
where you train intensely and other times when you
sit back and rest, but you always keep your mind on the
game.
Many, many people who try to build an income online struggle
and give up waaaaay too early. Many more get 80% of the
way there, get discouraged, and give up.
The truth is the only way to avoid "quitterism" is to
be CONSISTENT in your daily activity of working on
your game. It could be as little as 1/2 hour per day
but if you slack-off and go too many days without working
at it you lose all you've gained.
Success leads to success. With online marketing even
if you do not make money all the time you are at least
improving and staying motivated if you work on it a little
every day.
You can certainly select your own methods of motivating
yourself. But I can assure you that if the allure of easy
money is the only thing you have going for you... well,
it probably won't work out for you.
You see, life has a way of forcing us to grow... and if
your only motivation is bald greed you will easily lose
site of the path to success. Your attention will be easily
drawn to purported "easy" and "effortless" ways to make money.
... and when you change course all the time you not only
lose ground, you lose your sense of direction.
That's why it is essential that you read books to help you
learn how to be a better marketer. Don't try to get all
your information in small bites, by watching internet
videos already. Not reading books and only looking for
wisdom is small doses trains your mind to think in the
short-term.
Short-term thinking never produces long-term success. Your
long-term success will only happen in a way that is connected
with your pursuit of personal growth.
To succeed as an entrepreneur the two areas you MUST read
books about are: successful thinking, and advertising.
The first area gives you the mental toughness to succeed.
The second gives you the tools to attract buyers
for your products and services and make money with
your business.
