I've been thinking about purchasing a digital camera for a while now and think I have narrowed the choice to the Canon A590IS

Here are a few pros and cons that I have researched.
Pros
- It is small and compact and can fit in your pocket
- The shutter is fast. Some digital cameras have a shutter lag.
- Takes a good photo
- IS-Image Stabilization. Keeps the photos from being blurry
- Uses AA or rechargable batteries
Cons
- The video feature does not allow you to use the zoom function
- Can't see the LCD screen in the bright sunlight.
