A lot of people wonder if medical transcription is a legitimate job and I can say 'yes' as I have been doing medical transcription from home for over 8 years.
Do you just need to know how to type to become a medical transcriptionist? That is one of the most frequent questions I get. The answer is no. There is some training required in order to transcribe doctor's reports.
I have enjoyed working from home and receiving a regular paycheck.
