Getting off the ground with my first sale

This is something that I posted as a discussion (and also a big thank you to the Warriors).
Basically, I have no idea what i'm really doing with all this affiliate stuff and I recently made $398.50 from one affiliate sale from my site.
This isn't posted to brag as many Warriors make this money every hour i'm sure.
I post this because I was about to give up if it wasn't for the people on this forum that are so hugely helpful and encouraging.
So BIG THANKS (once again) to the warrior community. I hope I can in some way help you guys in return... also I hope to make a little video on how I did this so anyone that hasn't got off the ground with sales can get motivated to get their first.
