Two enormously useful benefits from real time search

Real time search implies a search engine always returns the latest version of a web site. For example, I add dozens of links to resources, information, advice and opinion to my Twitter page every day.
A real time search engine would always return the very latest tweet in its results pages if a person specifically searched for my site.
Currently, real time search is impossible for the entire web. But it is possible for certain specific sites, and some people have suggested that Bing (for example) does provide real time results for popular Twitter pages.
If the real time search trend continues, and more sites end up being indexed in real time (or close to it), it has implications for search engine optimisation (SEO).
One of the most useful side-effects will be the ability to test SEO ideas, and see their impact instantly. This wouldn't please the likes of Google, but it would sure please those of us involved in SEO. It also has potential benefits for every one in lead generation who has a site on page one of Google.
