Filezilla is a file transfer programme which is more commonly referred to as FTP. It is an open source programme which is free and above all is extremely easy to use and install.
The best way to find it is simply to Google Filezilla and you will arrive at a download page. Just one word of warning at this point, make doubly sure that you spell filezilla correctly. There are some dodgy websites that have been set up with similar spelt domain names to catch the unwary, if you are not careful you will end up downloading all sorts of rubbish and what’s worse you will be asked to give various details which could be used fraudulently against you at a later date.

I find it quite amazing that filezilla is free. There are plenty of FTP programmes on the market with far less features and which are not nearly as user friendly as Filezilla which are quite expensive.
Filezilla has been around quite a while and you will often find that when you have logged in to your account that there is another version available.
It is not a problem, you simply click on a box that you want to upgrade to the latest version and it is all done automatically for you and what’s more, all of the data in your account is saved.
If you do get stuck when using filezilla there is a forum that offers help and advice and if you still can't find what you are looking for just go back to our old friend Google and you will see that there are various forums and websites set up to help filezilla users.
I must also mention that there is an option of making a donation to the providers of this software, if you've used it for a while and you like it, then perhaps that is something that you may think about doing, I’m sure it would be appreciated.
