Newbie on Warrior

Greetings All,
I wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I have been a member for about a week now. I have been trying to follow the set up and learn the ropes so to speak.
If anyone knows of a thread that will make it less of a learning curve I would appreciate learning about it.
I would like to tell you a little about myself. I am a copywriter and have been in the business for 7 years.
I am what some may call a shy writer. I love to write but not to sell (myself, hope that makes sense LOL), promote (self), or be in the foreground.
I know that this sound strange in a service business which is all about selling. I am attempting to break this tendency now by I coming out of my shell and trying new things which before were I guess a little intimidating.
I am looking forward to learning, contributing, and forging new friendships. I am a homeschooling mom living in NY.
And I guess that is it for now.
