Internet Marketing newbie

Hi everyone,
I have joined the Warrior forum having decided that I want to become an Internet Marketer.
I was made redundant from my job as a mechanical engineering draughtsman at the end of January, and I have decided that I do not want to work for somebody else again.
At the moment, I do not have any websites set up, but I am looking into e-books. I set up a blog at wordpress.com, because it seemed like a good way to practise having an internet presence. It is not set up for traffic, and subsequently has not really had any visitors. Also, due to recent health problems, I did not post to it as often as I intended to.
At the beginning of March, I attended the eConfex entrepreneur conference at Heathrow. This gave me some ideas to get started, but unfortunately quite a lot of the speakers were talking about property rather than the internet. Still, it would be nice to hear from any of the other newbies there, if they have registered on this forum.
I will try to post regularly on this forum with updates on the progression of my new career.
Regards
Mike

Mike I am also new and really want to work for myself. There is just so much to learn and sometimes, I feel overwhelm, but I am determined to stick in there.Posted 04-05-2009 at 02:48 PM by ynoel1
