Are You Spreading Your Marketing Efforts Too Thin?

Posted 09-08-2008 at 09:44 PM by Monetize

There are countless ways to make money and
promote your websites, products and services.

Let's see. There is article marketing, article
spinning, ghostwriting, publishing eBooks,
press releases, AdWords, keywords, AdSense,
SEO, WSO, MFA, CJ, MRR, VRE, branding/
re-branding, ClickBank, Shareasale, Squidoo,
Forex, niching, FaceBook marketing, MySpace
marketing, butterfly marketing, re-writing PLR,
Yahoo Answers, membership sites, podcasts,
webinars, expired domains, flipping websites,
blogging, pinging, digging, dropshipping, eBay,
Amazon, Google Groups, affiliate income,
residual income, multiple streams of income,
product launches, firesales and on and on.

Good grief! Talk about information overload.
Thinking about all of that makes me just want
to take a nap. Is it any wonder that newbies
are confused? And that it takes most people
several months (even years) to figure out
which path they are going to take in the
internet marketing field. Or that most people
try one thing one day and something else the
next. It seems impossible to stay focused.

If you find that you are engaged in too many
internet activities, take some time to regroup.
Research, read books, visit forums, observe
others and finetune your marketing strategies.
Refocus your efforts based on your abilities,
resources and what you know will work.

Don't spin out trying to re-invent the wheel.
