Finally posting after two years of "watching"

Hey all, I thought I would start this blog thingy here. My main business is making business blogs for offline businesses. It is a great way to expand on my experience online and give a boost to the people who can benefit from mixing both offline and online marketing techniques.

I am originally from Chicago, Illinois. Moved to Scottsdale Arizona in 1980, which makes me a "native" of Arizona already!

Hi Bruce. I've noticed a lot going on with online marketers and webmasters getting involved in offline gigs. In fact I'm thinking of trying it out with a fundraising business that my father-in-law has started recently. Initially I just hope to get his site to the first page of Google with some SEO and backlinking, but I'm also going to try to talk him into starting a newsletter. I think it would be an interesting challenge.

Hey James, if you look at my current blog called Blog Marketing Experts, I have emphasis of helping offline businesses with putting up business blogs for them. I started this business model several months ago and gross about $1,100 per blog set up and collect some decent monthly recurring from maintaining the blogs for them.

I am a fan of consulting with offline businesses and showing them how to implement online tactics. The market is wide open for this and barely no competition.

James, regarding your fundraising business, I do believe that it is not necessary to be on the first page of Google, just maximize the SEO and backlinking and you should be ok. Too much pressure and false expectations of being on page one of Google search!
