Can I Make Money Online, Fast, and for Free?

This question is asked so many times in the forums each day it begs for some research. That, and the fact that a close friend of mine "dared" me to prove it could be done have lead me to embark on an experiment.
Starting today, using my membership here and tools that are freely available to me online, I'm going to set out to make money with no money to start with. I'll be keeping this entirely seperate from any of my current business projects and make every effort to not use any advantages I've acquired from my experience or any tools that I've paid for.
I'm not going to spoon feed you because one of the first skills you need is how to do basic research online, and the second is how to formulate it in your own mind and make use of it. I'll help if you hit a snag, but don't ask me to do it for you.
I'm also making some assumptions here that should apply to everyone. You need a computer available with internet access and a way of storing and organizing your personal information. You'll also need a word processor of some type. I'm using wordpad to compose this but even notepad will do to start.
I'm also assuming you have at least a high school education and made fair grades. We're not talking genious here, just someone that can read and write.
With all that said, We're going to set out to make some money online without spending any.
I've reviewed every strategy and secret I can imagine and the only one that's available to everyone, able to make money without spending any, is offering a service to someone for money, paid immediately(preferably), or at least weekly or biweekly.
The only services that almost anyone can provide with little or no experience and get paid for are services that other people find necessary but mind numbingly boring. (Did I mention this isn't going to be exciting OR easy?)
The services we're going to provide are going to be writing content, providing backlinks, and rewriting non-copyrighted material. (Did I mention we're going to be writing?)
OK, the first thing we're going to have to do is get a PayPal Account...
I know that's going to be a "sticking point" for some of you but it's something that has to be done. Everybody pays by paypal...Like it or not they're a necessary evil. So if you don't have an account with them yet you need to start working on it now. You're going to need it to withdraw your money in 7-10 days!
