My library grows like a Jasmine vine well tended it seems.
One benefit of this is a wide exposure to different styles of writing.
I enjoy reading about writing almost as much as the writing itself.
When someone who knows and can articulate the "How & Why", you know you have a really special book on your hands.
Steven King did this in his book titled "On Writing" (look it up on Amazon).
His down-to-earth style of writing, that catches every flicker of an eye-lash and curve of a banister is part of his appeal.
There are a number of other authors who have done this as well. Orson Scott Card comes to mind in his books "Elements of Writing Fiction - Characters & Viewpoint" and "How to Write Science Fiction & Fantasy".
Both authors have unique insight into what makes a book both readable and enjoyable.
Although I do not have those kinds of skills yet, I hope to one day in the IM field.
I was given a great compliment by fypnlp in the War Room in the thread where Ross Bowring offered up his mind-blowing Stripped Naked Sales Letter.
Thank you fypnlp! It is this kind of encouragement that we all need to get us through the rough bits of this business.
