Got An IM Idea? Go Do It! Don't Sleep On It.

Posted 08-09-2009 at 04:19 AM by rapidscc

Do you usually get good ideas that you think will make it BIG time!

Do you just write it down? or worse just let it pass?

Don't! If that idea don't cross from pure essence to actual reality by actual work, it will be wasted. You could say bye-bye to the next million dollar possibility you were offered by your mind.

I've always been a believer of taking it slow, focusing on one thing only, waiting until it grows then jumping to another.

Whenever I get a new idea I just write them down, hoping to get back to it in the future, whenever that may be.

But recently I realized that I should immediately act on ideas that comes to me. if it's a good one.

My new mentality about this is that the ideas are actually INSPIRATIONS and you know that whenever you have great ideas it is also accompanied by a great surge of energy that pushes you to do it.

If you let this energy accompanied by the INSPIRATION to COOL DOWN you would not be as enthusiastic to do the idea some other time.

Think of all the artist who don't work until an idea hits them, and work to death once they get an idea. The great inventor Thomas Edison was said to work long hours when new ideas come to him.

But this does not mean that we should be like "butterflies" flying from one idea to the next. What I'm trying to say is give some time to new ideas when they come. Don't let the new ideas sleep. Don't just write them, give them some of your time. If it's a piece of composition, start writing a rough draft or an overview. If it's a piece of software, develop a quick model.

Give ideas your time, but also don't jump from one idea to the next. Maintain a good balance between working on long term ideas and new ideas that comes to you.

You definitely want to finish projects you started but it will also do you good to bring "special" ideas into reality in the soonest possible time before they become stale.

It's easier said than done but if you master this it could make you succeed. Imagine if you'll be the first one to release the next big thing in Internet Marketing...

To Your Success!

One of the ways to quickly bring ideas into reality is by outsourcing. Free yourself up by delegating to others the repetitive things you do in your business. That way you'll have more time for the really BIG ideas you want done.
