How do you use Twitter?

Twitter has become a very important part of a lot of people’s lives and we have all learnt to use Twitter for all sorts of different reasons. You simply can’t escape Twitter whether it is finding out all about the breaking news before everyone else or watching a television chat show and watching with delight as a well known celebrity texts through to their profile.

Many people have spent years wanting to communicate with celebrities and this has provided them with their big chance....

When is a marketing method a step too far

I’ve just come across a marketing campaign that both amused me and annoyed me at the same time. I really think this person has lost the plot as far as adding numbers to his mailing list.

[B]What he had done was this……[/B]

*Submitted a link on the warrior forum inviting people to download his free e-book
*They were then sent to his Twitter profile with another link
*Then they were sent to his Blog to another link
*At this point they clicked...

Do you use business cards?

I use business cards every day. Give them to every customer or prospect. They really help in every way. But, no need to put something funny or quippy on them. People just like to be able to contact you. It is better than tearing off a piece of a tow sack and looking for a pencil in the truck.

My secret affiliate weapon

I am not the biggest of affiliate marketers. I don’t go writing review after review or affiliate other people’s products via pay per click.

What I do though is take advantage of space that I have on my websites. If you have room at the bottom of your website why not have an affiliate image jumping out ready for someone to click on. When you have a mailing list and don’t have a one time offer (OTO) to send people to why not forward it to an affiliate link.
