Ok, I have made a goal, which I think is a small goal or a big goal depending on how I look at it. I do not make even $100K per year, which I would like to do. I think, in IM, this really is not much. I have met guys in this business who are raking in the dough upwards of $1 million per year. This seems doable for me, a few years down the road, if I can scale. If I can make the right moves. You really have to be doing things right do get above that $100K mark, though, and I think it can really snowball from there if you know how to outsource and scale.
I know this is a bit of a rambling post, and I am not sure anyone will read it, but thought it important to do for myself just the same. I'm not going to be using this post as any sort of promotion tool.
Anyway, I don't like to tell people how much I make, exactly, but lets just say I want to make more. A lot more. I have set what I think is a reasonable goal to make $50,000 more this year than last year. I am setting a goal to reach that before July, so should my goal be $100,000 more this year? I am basically saying I want to make $50,000 more this year than last year, and give myself the first 6 months of the year to do it. If I disappoint myself and do not make it, I still have 6 more months to reach it!
I will need to increase my earnings by, lets just say, more than double per day to reach this goal. So now you have an idea of how much I make. To some it may seem awesome to others it may seem like nothing. I do not care. I am just happy for all the tricks I have learned over the last year, from starting out by answering questions on yahoo answers and going to far better methods from there. I mean, I used to put my affiliate link directly in the answer! Seems crazy now.
I also noticed I have 700 posts now. That's far too many. I should be to $500/day by now with that many posts, I think. I'm not there, yet. So really, I will not spend too much time on the forum from now on, and reevaluate at the end of this month. It's a New Year and I need to change my work practices and time management.
I love what I call "perfect numbers" such as 444, 555, 666 (ha ha) so I have decided that I will be hitting my immediate goal (besides the $50K goal) by May 1 and I will not post beyond 777 posts unless I have reached my immediate goal (which is?). When I reach 777 posts, I will release a cheaply priced WSO to let people know my success and how I did it, leaving almost nothing out (except stuff I should not reveal if I learned it directly from someone else's IM product).
So what is my immediate goal? Well, I have never used youtube until now. New Year, new method. So, my goal is to get to that $50K more this year mark using youtube and youtube only. There are different methods I can use, but I am focusing on three for now. Some say to focus on one thing so I will focus on each method one at a time. I will give the first method more than one week, from now until the end of next week, and start on the next. So my goal would be to get to $150/day using only this method, while putting a bit of time in to the other methods I have already going now, some of which bring me mostly passive income so it requires minor tweaking, anyhow.
