Time Management - What Foods and Habits Make You More Productive?

YouTube - What Foods and Habits Make You More Productive?

If you are trying time management habits but you can't seem to get in the habit of staying productive 24/7, your lifestyle habits and dietary choices might be at fault. Many internet marketers live lazy sedentary lifestyles and recently I have noticed some of the more high profile ones gain weight. How can you remain self employed, or work two jobs, and remain healthy? I am definitely not saying you need to start running several miles a day or become a health nut, but there are a few tiny changes you can make in your every day habits to not only stay healthy, but boost your productivity.

The first thing you should do is drink smoothies. The secret to making smoothies is that bananas cover up any taste. If you want to throw in fruits, vegetables, or vitamin powder, just mix it in a blender with a banana, some milk, and maybe some ice, and you will only taste the banana. Smoothies are so great because they are already in liquid form and your body can instantly absorb it. I have a friend who lived on smoothies for a long while. He drank one smoothie per hour for weeks. His productivity level was through the roof and he lost a few pounds in the process. You do not have to go to this extreme, however... you can simply drink one smoothie per day to keep your energy level up.

The next thing you need to consider is a little bit of exercise. You do not need to train for a marathon, but a walk around the block once in the early evening would do you good. Can you walk to the grocery store to pick up a few things instead of driving? Many internet marketers are so stressed and so "busy" that they miss out on what really matters in life, which is relaxing, enjoying the outdoors, and staying healthy.

Exercise is good for your mind as well as your body. After I complete a project, or even the day's work, I might clean the house, do a the dishes or a few loads of laundry, or mow the lawn just to clear my head. Downtime is important, and even light amounts of exercise goes a long way towards relaxing you.

Finally, let your mind work in sprints. Get your "to do list" down to just two or three items. Pick the top item in your task list, and work as hard and as fast as you can to finish it, before moving on to the next thing. That is how you will get a lot accomplished in a short amount of time. You cannot succeed by working on a dozen tasks in parallel, at a slow speed, and hope to keep that pace indefinitely.

Ouch Franck, that always sucks... did you have a plugin that left stuff open or did you just forget to keep your WordPress current?
