What Simple Bonuses Can I Provide?

You have that killer offer setup on a sales letter and you want to provide bonuses, but what will they be? If you are stumped, I have a few ideas for you about how you can provide some killer extra value to your buyers. Why not add video and audio versions of your own products or from affiliate products?

An easy way to quadruple the value of a product is to add video. You don't even need your own product for this. I once promoted an affiliate offer from a marketer who usually provided videos with all his reports. This time he had no video. Because of that, I printed out his entire 150-page PDF report, opened PowerPoint and created one slide per page. On every page, I typed in a title and three bullet points. I did this to keep everything simple: if I was reading from page 87 then I was on slide 87. I also copied the clipart graphics from his PDF book onto my PowerPoint so that people would see more than just text.

With PowerPoint open, resized to 640 by 480 resolution and in full screen, I opened up Camtasia Recorder to record the PowerPoint into a screen capture video. I simply read the entire book from start to finish, moving to the next slide as I turned the page. I recorded each chapter as its own video, so somebody could start watching a video at a certain chapter, and they only had to sit through 10 minutes each time.

I ended up with about five hours of PowerPoint screen capture video footage. Because I was super focused and on task, guess how long it took me to make those videos? Five hours. It was a video of someone else's product, so I could not sell the videos on my own, but I did say: Order this guy's product through my affiliate link, and I will send you my videos as a bonus.

You are not limited to videos either. I exported the videos into MP3 audio so buyers not only got the video, but the audio as well so they could listen in their car or at the gym. I also went crazy and burned the videos to DVDs and audios to CDs, but never did anything with them. However, I could have offered physical products as bonuses for buying through me, how cool is that?
