Noobie traps annoy the crap out of me!

Ok,.. time for a little rant.
I'm going to let of a bit of steam here and doing it "off the record" so to speak and not mentioning any names as that wouldn't actually be Kosher either, because I'm just getting tired of seeing too many WSO's coming out lately that can't be described as anything more than "newbie traps" and/or hyped up products that do little (if anything at all) to deliver or perform in the manner expected by the unwitting and trusting purchasers.
Don't get me wrong,.. there are some awesome WSO's and many that can be picked up for $5 to $27 that are under rated and under priced and that really over deliver and there wouldn't be a week that goes by without I buy at least 2 or 3 WSO's as I'm always learning and most of what I pick up is either solid value or even awesome cutting edge new info!
What annoys me though is when I see things such as "blind offers" that tell you everything that the product/report/course is not but tell you nothing about what it really is about so you end up buying out of either curiosity or frustration or both.
It really urks me when as an experienced IM'er I know as well as any one else that effective Internet marketing requires at least some or a combination or SEO, Press releases, Video, Articles, Site building, sales letters, sales funnels, Social Marketing etc etc,.. but then we see the typical blind offer telling you that the latest formula requires "None" of those things but it will create solid income with zero capital outlay (except the cost of the WSO) and you'll be earning $'s by this time tomorrow or at latest within 5 days!
I do realise that some methods and courses can't be too specific for want of giving the concept away or creating a wrong impression but we could have more integrity and less smoke and mirrors thanks ladies & gentlemen.
The other thing that has got my gander up is when I see "Premium" WP themes being promoted for anything from $10 to $47 that are nothing more than rehashed freemium themes but now stripped of original author/designer support.
Most of these "wonder themes" are poorly designed and despite claims to being "user friendly", "SEO enhanced" and "designed for marketers by marketers" they are anything but that and are being sold for $'s when similar (and better) themes with wider support are being distributed freely.
Yes I have created several themes that I've charged for and my latest theme for local and small business named "WP-LocalBiz" is one such theme that is anything but free. In fact I have sold developer licenses for it at $395 and over 130 WSO licenses at $77 to $97. Then again it is truly a premium and custom designed theme with proven marketing focus and features that I have not seen to date in any other theme (go ahead and check it out and if you can find one better either free or paid then I will eat my words and I'm up for the challenge).
On the other hand I could take one of the excellent freemium themes I'm talking about and tweak it a bit and brand it as my own and sell it as a WSO for $17 with "free" developer license but why do that when I can point people toward the original freemium theme with open source code that they can develop till the hearts content for the grand sum of $0 (zero dollars).
If there was more focus on warriors truly displaying the warrior spirit and helping those coming up the ranks rather than taking advantage of them by pumping out WSO's of low value and high hype factor or by promoting the same thing as a profit driven affiliate just for the sake of a few extra bucks into your PayPal account then we'd have what IMHO would be a true Warrior Forum where integrity and purpose reign supreme!
