Stealth Marketing | Cyber War

Posted 04-11-2009 at 09:28 AM by Sean A McAlister

Stealth Marketing
or "Flying Under the Radar" is a technique in which you can effectively deliver a message producing the desired result without giving the "Perception" that a consumer is "Being Sold" on something.

The goal of stealth marketing is to set the stage and insure that the right environment is in place that will cultivate Rapid Organic Growth.

The very term requires the Marketing Architect to think out side of the box. A wider spectrum of planning and methodical actions.

Stealth Marketing is often times referred to as falling into the same category as Geurilla Marketing.

This is true.

Geurilla Marketing is a topic for another discussion....and a good one to have.

Stealth Marketing virtually requires the Architect to understand and put into action
Geurilla Marketing.

Rather than dropping "Scud Missiles" randomly across a Cyber Landscape.....the Stealth Marketer launches "Tomahawk" Missles with laser guided precision and can dominate a niche market within days.

This is a great subject for discussion.

I am sure you saw the Viral Video on YouTube where everyone is popping -pop corn kernals with their cell phones right?
That was stealth marketing in action.
Did you ever read the article on the company behind the madness? It's a good one. The statistical data was powerful!
All designed to push a product.
