My blog where I say what's on my mind. My hope is that it will make some people think. For the rest...hopefully it wasn't a waste of 5 minutes of their time.

What's Needed To Make Money Online?

Hi:
It's me again. I'm back with some more goodies. I think you're going to like this entry in my blog. If you're into making money online, this might just take you into areas beyond where you're used to going.
Okay, so let's look at the title of this blog post.
"What's Needed To Make Money Online?"
If you were to ask 100 different people this question, you'd probably get 100 different answers. Everybody is going to have their own opinion.
Some might say, "Well, you need to have a website and something to sell." Others might chime in with, "You need to do a lot of advertising." Still others might argue that you need to be able to write like Dickens.
But what I don't hear a lot of people talk about it ethics and mindset.
Oh sure, when you bring it up, of course then they say, "Well sure, of course you have to be ethical and have the right mindset" but when you bring up the question...
"What's Needed To Make Money Online?"
Most people go right for the X's and O's.
Why is that?
Well, it's because that's the way many people are programmed. And we're programmed that way from the minute we're out of the cradle and in grade school.
Our teachers show us how to do our alphabet a certain way. We're taught to count a certain way. Everything we do is taught by a step by step process. We're not really taught to think. We're more taught to do...without thinking.
That's why so many kids who learn things by rote, can't do a blessed thing when they get out of school...they don't know how to think.
That is why so many marketers and home business owners who have all the X's and O's down (web site, salescopy, advertising avenues, etc.) don't make a penny because there is no mindset behind it.
And worse, they'll get advice on doing things that are about as ethical as selling a blind man a painting of Charlie Brown and telling him it's the Mona Lisa, and these poor saps blindly do these things and THEN...when their business folds because they've been shut down, they wonder what the hell went wrong.
Oh, I know. Some of us doing these unethical things KNOWING they're unethical simply because they don't give a crap. Why should they?
As my wife's kids at school say to her, "If you don't get caught, you didn't do anything wrong." Yes, that is the mindset of some of our youth today.
It's scary.
So while you may need the X's and O's to run a successful business, doing so without the ethics and the mindset is a ticket to disaster.
Therefore, when going through your list of "to-do's" make sure you include the following:
Treat my prospects and customers with respect.
Obey the laws of the sites I belong to and the sites that will directly affect my income, such as Google. Yes, they are your friend if you play by their rules.
Deliver on my promises.
Be honest at all times.
Don't sacrifice your integrity for the sake of a sale. If your product isn't going to help somebody because he needs an IQ to use it and he can't spell CAT, don't sell it to him.
I could keep going, but I think you get the message.
And yes, I am laying my personal beliefs on you here...some of which you may or may not agree with. They come from years of experience and being able to sleep at night.
Anyway, I realize I can't really give somebody the mindset and ethics, but if you want the X's and O's of making money online, check out the link in my signature.
It's just one of the many products I have that will certainly give you the tools to make a living.
But how well you do with them will have a lot to do with those other two things I talked about.
Whether you want to admit it or not.
To YOUR Success,
Steven Wagenheim
