Instilling Confidence During Tough Times

Posted 10-15-2008 at 06:26 PM by Steven Wagenheim

I wanted to make this a timely blog post so let's focus on something that is going on right now and see how we can make the situation better.

As you know (unless you've been living in a cave or under a rock) we are in the middle of an economic crisis. People are scared to death and are hanging onto their money. This translates to fewer sales for Internet marketers...me included. No, I am not immune to this mess.

Fortunately, through building a solid business the past 5 plus years, I have managed to still bring in enough to pay the bills and have a little something left over. 2008 will be an even better year than 2007, even with all the drama.

But why? Why have I not gone completely under when businesses are closing up all over and some marketers are crying the blues that what they once had is suddenly gone?

Well, aside from the fact that I have spent over 5 years building this, I have also gone above and beyond the call to instill confidence in my prospects.

For starters, my most recent products, I have gone away from Clickbank. Why? Because they only allow a 60 day refund policy. I have decided to go with refunds of 6 months and in some cases even a year. This goes a long way to increasing buyer confidence.

Another thing I started to do this year was to make videos...lots of them. This way, people get to see who I am and what I stand for. I'm not just an anonymous name out there in cyberspace.

These two things have increased my sales, decreased my refunds and have given me a better public image. I'm no longer the "Who is that Steven Wagenheim?" character. I'm now that, "Oh yeah, I know that guy. I saw his videos."

These may seem like little things, but they're not. Everything that you do to instill confidence in your prospects is important.

The economy won't be like this forever. It may get worse before it gets better. But if you can portray an image that earns the trust of others, you'll increase your sales no matter how difficult times are.

You can take a look at some of my REAL TRUTH videos right here:

As you can see, I'm just a regular guy.

To YOUR Success,
