I have put off the idea of having a blog. Mostly because once you put information out there. Its mostly out there forever. Even if you edit or delete content, you can always look up the Google cache in most cases and find out what was on a web page before it had the updated content.
Not to start out on a bad note… but there is this fear of saying the wrong thing.
Don’t worry. The internet is a mind-melding experience. Just because someone said something, it does not make it true. It is that person/or community’s perspective. This is why blogging is important. It is like having a voice, becoming part of the mind-meld.
People are people. They support, love, judge and/or criticize or put you down…. what ever!
People will hurt you [be hurtful]. People will heal you [be supportive/uplifting]. People will love you! [be loving] – PEOPLE WILL BE PEOPLE.
It is up to you to choose what you want to associate yourself with. Choose your focus. Your focus will become your reality.
Example:
I recently put out a video series for a technical subject called Drupal. I got emails from people all excited about it. I also one person that was skeptical of my willingness to help. I got one person that sent me a negative/mean email telling me that there is already a support manual for Drupal beginners and that I am wasting my time and other words I don’t want to use on my new blog.
PS: I finished creating the Video Series for Drupal Beginners. It has helped people build websites without needing to know programming or having to hire a designer or developer!
If I listened to the negativity, I would never have been able to make a huge difference in the way websites are built and help people save tons of money in the process!
NOW FOR THE GOOD PART, HERE ARE REASONS TO BLOG AND BECOME PART OF THE MIND-MELD
