Get rid of what, you ask?

Let me tell you one weak point that I have tracked with my own sales letters at asianlunatic reveals Radical Marketing Tips . It helped raise the conversion rate to extra 3.2%. This might not be a huge revelation, but this can help make a difference in your sales letter.

Take 5 minutes to scan your sales letter and see if you have this word: That. Now, strike the letter out as much as possible, and notice how your sales letter sounds more “stronger” and more interesting to read.

Hard to believe this, but hey, it helps. Better to test this when you bust your chops with Adwords.

Another weak word is: which!

Of course there are some exemptions on this. If you use these 2 words at the start of the sentence, then it’s okay.

    Very good advice! I used to use "that" a lot but finally broke myself of the habit, except sometimes it tries to sneak back in when I'm not looking. Good post Suthan!

    Hi Wendy,

    i agree, i used to be in the same boat too, but i use those words so less now, its no more in my dictionary :-p

    ok, thats an overstatement :-P
