What are keywords? What do keywords do for your Article? How do keywords play a role in the ranking of search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo? I was baffled for a long time by the proper usage of keywords. It wasn’t until I started to use the search engines myself, to look for information I needed, that it clicked like someone just pulled the switch on. Duh! Where was I living, under a rock?

Best permalink structure for Wordpress. My Test results.

It is one topic of debate quite a long time. With testing out few different custom structure. i came to know this:

custom structure with sitename.com/%postname% is good for SEO BUT ive got better SERP rankings with Post ID or any unique id (number) in the url.

The default sitename.com/yyyy/mm/dd/%postname% is itself better performance wise.

When i used
sitename.com/%postname%/%postid%

The numeric part in the last it showed better...
