Who is "The Broke Marketer"?
I'm just your average entrepreneur that has taken every beating imaginable in the network marketing industry. I've had so many heartbreaks and have lost so much money in network marketing. I fail everyday in this industry yet everyday I get back up, learn from my mistakes and push forward. There have been so many times that I've wanted to quit but I couldn't. Something inside wouldn't let me. Maybe it was pride, or maybe it was because I didn't want to settle for mediocrity. I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Working a job wasn't for me and being in debt up to my eyeballs wasn't much fun either.
Everywhere you go today people claim that they have the best business, the greatest opportunity or they are some Internet mastermind that has the solution to everyone's financial problems. Here's the truth. There is no perfect business or product and no one has the magical formula. The best business in the world doesn't market itself. Bottom line is people market a business and if they don't know what they are doing they will fail miserably. Marketing is the key.
I go through the same battles everyday in this industry just like everyone else. I've made all the same mistakes everyone else has made. I've just continued to pick myself back up, move forward and learn from these challenges.
I have to admit Internet marketing was not what I had dreamed of doing the rest of my life. It's a lonely road and probably one of the hardest paths to take to achieve financial freedom. Maybe that's why I'm so passionate about it. I wouldn't let it defeat me.
I want to share with you a big secret to success in this industry. Just follow what the leaders have already done.
That simple. Stop wasting time and money on businesses and techniques that don't work. The "newest" opportunity or "ground breaking" business is not the answer. Just follow what the current leaders have already done to become successful? They aren't joining the latest get rich quick schemes or opportunities. They simply follow a proven system with steps that have already been tried and tested.
Who are the top leaders in this industry? Go to Google and search for them. True leaders have people following them. They don't need to announce they are a leader or an expert. People just flock to them. When your name is a top keyword in Google, you are an industry leader. When thousands of network marketers are your affiliates you're a top leader. When you're a millionaire you're a leader. A couple of my favorite leaders are Mike Dillard, and Ann Sieg.
So basically I'm just your average marketer that's taken all the same licks and beatings everyone else has. I am no different than anyone else. I've been dead broke, hopeless and in despair. I've blown through my list of family and friends. I've been in every network marketing business on the planet and pushed them on everyone I came in contact with. I've had my heart torn out from businesses that didn't work out. I've followed outdated network marketing techniques that didn't work. I have failed, and then failed some more, but I've always continued to get back up and fight for my dreams.
