You have probably seen the commercials on TV about getting your free annual credit report.
They do a good job of explaining the reasons you should check your credit report. My favorite is the guy buying a car with three guys behind him. Two of them are tall and smiling. The third guy is wearing a hockey mask.
The hockey mask guy has a very low number on his shirt while the other two are good scores. Making sure you have all the information in your report up to date and accurate is important.
The problem is the advertisers are sending you to a paid site. Not the one where you can get it for free.
