43-Words To Reassure Your Customer About Text Size
Posted 08-07-2008 at 12:17 AM by Thomas
Some people use larger-than-usual text in an e-book or report because they know it helps on-screen readability.
Many customers think it's done to inflate page-count (admittedly, it sometimes is by those with no scruples).
Here's a handy way to reassure and re-mind your customer that it hasn't been done nefariously in your case.
Just put this at the start of your e-book or report (near the standard copyright notice is probably a good place):
This e-book is optimised for viewing on a computer screen, but is organised so you can print it out and assemble it as a book. Since the text is optimised for screen-viewing, the type is larger than in a usual print book.
You can thank Kevin Riley for this. I nicked the idea from him.
