"Members Of The *War Room* Discover Secrets To Immediate Success!"
I have a wide range of tips to share with fellow Warriors - from teaching you how to write better (or smarter) to helping you learn how to wield the power of web 2.0 sites like Squidoo, Hub Pages, and Google Knol.

I have made tens of thousands of dollars on the Warrior Forum alone and I'm always willing to help others learn the ropes if they just ask. I wanted to create my Warrior Forum blog to build an in-house area for questions and answers among marketers, so sound off in my comments area and I'll help you as best as I can and if I can't, I'll find someone who will.

Before you start getting paying writing jobs, buyers are going to want to see how well you can write. You'll run into a lot of potential clients who ask you to write a "sample chapter" (or two) for them so that they can see if they want to hire you.

Don't do it!

While some have good intentions, others are just trying to take advantage of you by using your freebie without having to pay you any money.

Instead, have a portfolio of excerpts you can show them. You don't want to write for free. A portfolio gives the buyer a chance to gauge your talents and saves you the hassle of having to deliver free content - because trust me, you'll be too busy to do this once you start getting a steady client base.

I never show prospective clients a full eBook I've written. A file of one-page excerpts is enough. I do like to separate my files by topic, putting diet/fitness/nutrition in one file, parenting in another, business success in another, and so on.

The reason I do this is because when a prospective client needs a specific topic, I can often get the gig just by showing my familiarity on the subject matter. If a client needs a book on dieting, then showing him a sample on Quantum Physics won't help sway his opinion of me. But a sample on the Sonoma Diet shows him I know how to address his target audience.
