If you think about it, then this makes sense. Just why should a directory that allows it’s user to put up whatever content they want rank well in the search engines. Maybe there was a time in the past that it did, but in 2012 it should be quality first right? If you don’t have someone controlling what is getting uploaded then it can quickly turn into a spammers paradise. Just go and look at some directories out there now.
