I FINALLY TOOK THE PLUNGE

As you can see I originally joined in '05. For a long time and right up to this point i never
fully appreciated the tremendous value of this forum. That has all changed.
My learning curve in this industry, as with so many of us, has proven to be expensive. In fact I spent myself to near bankruptcy while "learning". I was in every way what Mike Filsaime has referred to as a "porcupine in heat" when it came to gobbling up programs, ebooks and software including "Butterfly Marketing" at a feverish pace. What I did get out all of it, that I would not trade for anything, was knowledge.
From 2007 to about 3 months ago I almost completely stopped doing anything with internet marketing except lick my wounds and try to repair the damage. Things got so bad that I had to take a withdrawl of 401k money to survive. Out of those funds I have been very carefully and sparingly investing in my comeback. I am squeezing as much out of previously aquired knowledge, tools and yes -freebies- to build my business. I have no choice to build it while being admittedly the biggest cheap skate on the planet. I have no choice. Financially, I am hanging on by my fingernails to the edge of a very tall cliff looking down a very deep cavern. So, I cannot afford to be reckless with spending.
I have to say that what reignited my appetite was good ole GDI. Yes, that is what I said-Global Domains International.
I had at one point 53 members and watched it erode to 14. But in those 2 years of complete inactivity it refused to die. On it's own my membership went back up to 43 and through it all I never stopped getting paid-albeit a small amount. The real value of of what that did for me was not about the money itself because it's value was very small as I have shown (averaging between $15 and $50 approximately per month). What it really did was keep alive the idea that residual income and duplication are not only real but well worth relentless pursuit-never giving up.
So, here I am - back in the saddle again. I'd say "wish me luck" but luck has nothing to do with it. It's all about the right kind of continued effort.
I stll have much to learn but at the same time I want to be a contribution to this amazing forum.
It all starts today.
Best Regards and Success to you all.
