Make Money Online With Adsense - What You Need To Know

First off, niche selection is crucial if you want to make any money with Google's Adsense program. Basically, you write content and adsense advertisers benefit from people clicking on ads that relate to your content. You benefit from adsense revenue. The higher the quality the content is, and the higher the quality the traffic is, the more you get. Now there is a catch. Some niches are more valuable than others. For example, a website on pet hamsters may have lots of keywords that pay a whopping $0.05/click, but if you want to make any kind of money, you'll pick something that pays at least $0.25/click. Some niches like money related niches pay more than a dollar for each click!
The problem with the high paying niches is that the other competition who are making money with adsense have all the top spots locked up. It takes time and determination to get up high on the search results for competitive keywords. This will kill off most of your competition right there. Most people don't have the long term vision necessary to succeed in this business. If you have drive and ambition, you'll do very well.
It will take a lot of trial and error to find good niches that represent a good compromise between cost per click, competition, and traffic numbers. You will get some duds even in promising niches and some not so great looking niches may turn out to be your best earners. There are no guarantees and when it comes to making money with adsense, the more sites you put up, the better your chance for success.
