Hi Guys & Girls,
Its been a while since my first blog post on here which was my last too...lol.

Since then i have found my overwhelm turned into a thirst for more knowledge and i experimented with various things with varied amounts of success.

Well, i guess i can say i am no longer a newbie although i feel i haven't yet achieved too much.

I initially got started in IM after the recession, previously i had a pretty successful business in recruitment, staffing and work permit processing for people to work in UK, USA, Canada, Australia etc. These were often people from each of these countries going to work and settle in the other countries, i am not talking about some cheap labor type service, these were highly skilled engineers, teachers, nurses and other professionals with really good education, skills and qualifications.

Anyway... The entry to IM was as i expected like the previous times before when i attempted it, and before long the overwhelm appeared, i was spending money regularly on some mailing lists latest super product from the gurus (man we can be suckers some times, but i do find the WSO of the day from Mike Lantz - "warrior plus" to be something that i really look forward too, and yes i do read them, learn and try to apply them if they are a fit for what i am doing now.
Well, the road down the IM path was with some enthusiasm and if anything that has grown over the past year or so.

I left Louisiana where i was working for almost a year with a really great business partner, with a promise and intention to return.
I first went back to Latvia where we had lived for the past 8 years and started putting together what i thought was going to be a great offline business concept, i spent 3 months there and refined a system which i knew had to be automated and was ready to go with it, but first I had to return to my homeland in Scotland as my mother was diagnosed with cancer, she sadly passed away on November 19th.

This had kept me in Scotland for 4 months and very little work got done, perhaps that's why i got to looking forward to the wso of the day from Mike, it kept me learning and my sanity at times.
I was fortunate to be able to serve my mother and help her as best as i could with my family for those last few months of her life.

Right now i am in Latvia again, we came back this week ( it took a 3 day drive from Scotland to get here) to give up our possessions, apartment and our life here, we will return to Lousiana by early january and we are ready to go.

The great thing about there is that we do not get any distractions, i go there to work, i put my head down, i can focus and i can get things done. I can do that in Latvia too but my wife doesn't have that as her family is here and she is dealing with stuff most of the day, leaving me to dream of the ultimate automation and systems to make it realm easy.

People who are not business minded just do not get it that you have work to do and they especially don't get it when you are working on a computer (or a wee machine as my mother called it

I managed to spend a bit of money while in Scotland buying some memberships and products to automate everything, i would need a full time team to have it all being used daily as needed and to the best effect.
The need now has to be to re-create the system i had done previosuly but now with a better understanding and knowledge.
Outsourcing has become the key focus for me now.

I found the very best Automation tools (probably there are more that i do not know about).

Some that are worthy of a mention are SYNND, EVO II, Content Buzz, Webdominator, Twit Sniper, SEO backlink builder, Internet Marketing Revolution and firepow. These are all traffic tools. I have done very little copywriting and strangely enough it's where i believe my real strengths will lie when i do choose to learn it.
First though, traffic has to be conquered and become second nature, with those tools and the knowledge i now have it would be surprising if that area isn't chalked off the need to learn list very soon.

I will do a review on all of these when i re-do my blog...i had started it, let it go for a while and then as i stopped membership with an IM forum type membership where it was hosted i lost it altogether and will start again.

Now i find myself drawn to what i would call real people who are in the trenches everyday and who give some great info on the warrior and war room forums.

Special mentions would perhaps surprise some people but to me these are people i started to look out for.

Mark Dickenson - Backlink Bully was a good product and he has some good regular input on the forum.
Mark Mason...i like the guy, i feel like i have watched him grow from a newbie at around the same time as myself i think, and he tells it as it is with no hype..good guy!
Jeremy Kelsall - Great info, great products, active in the forum and helpful without being unapproachable.
Jack Duncan - awesome thread he started in the war room about using ezine articles to find highly popular articles that could be used ti piggy back off, since then i discovered what a brilliant marketer he really is and his products and WSO's are quality.
Paul Coleman - Quality marketer with quality products. Try out Viral tactix...you will learn something worthwhile there and from any of Paul's products.
Terry Kyle - if you dont know him you should go to the forum thread he started about testing backlink strategies and buy his backlinks blackbelt report...some of it might be hard to digest and need to be read more than once but hang in there and you will be well educated in backlinks.
The Article marketing guys like Milan (great software by the looks of it and the reviews, i haven't bought the article marketing submitter software yet though) and Josh Spaulding..find him and donwload his article marketing reports, great content and consistently good info coming from him.
James Jones - Thanks for micro niche finder!
Others that i would like to learn more form and get to know at some point would be Jack Humphreys.. seriously good info from Jack's products, Angela Edwards - knowledgable, always polite and a credit to IM, Melanie (Niche Chick Blog) who always seems to be commenting in threads that i am reading, looks like a busy warrior and someone who takes massive action & gets things done..check out her niche a day by the way!

Probably there are a ton more people and if i haven't got them this time i will next time in the hope that it will help newbies and more experienced marketers to recognise who is worth looking into and worth spending money on.

There are also some not so nice, well known people that dont answer PM's, some that you would think are nice who really are not and some that you would think are giving good info but if you spent time on the forum researching their niches you would discover far more valuable info for free that they are charging huge amounts of money for inferior info. not all Guru's are created equally

What was the point of this blog post?
I guess to let me and the world know i am back, ready to roll, no distractions and just wanted to make a noise in my own way to reaffirm myself..i am ready to take massive action, i guess writing that here creates some kind of accountability and also hopefully to meet a few friends, new colleagues and help out some people newbies or otherwise who might benefit from some of the info. If folks know a little about me then its easier for them to say hello

I will do regular posts and more focused on one area at a time in future.

For any newbies who are really confused about where to start...choose a niche, do your keyword research (get a free trial of market samurai & buy micro niche finder), check out those warriors mentioned above, learn about backlinks and don't get caught up on the technical side...you can get people to build sites for you for pennies, you can outsource anything for very little money, here is no excuse for not making progress...2 things to get started...outsource and backlinks...that should get you going!

Dont be shy to PM if you want some info on any of the products and i would really appreciate anyone making contact just to be friendly to do so.

All the best!
Tony
