Yellow root is a bitter herb that grows naturally on creek banks from southern Maine to northern Florida, so how did it change the life of an internet marketer ?
Is it because yellow root lowered my high blood pressure . This affordable herb did improve my health that was not the life changer that I am referring to.
I had always worked the "make money from home niche" and never considered working with a physical product .
Yellow root was something that I knew quite a bit about . My grandmother taught me a lot about medicinal herbs . When I was a child , affordable herbs were always given before any trip to the doctor was made .
Yellow root is plentiful in my little corner of hillbilly heaven. A constant local demand is not . I mean it is in a lot of people's back yard. Kind of like trying to sell grass to the average homeowner.
I used my knowledge of SEO and article marketing and was surprised at how easy it was to dominate a lot of the long tail keywords associated with the niche .
While yellow root is not going to be extremely hard to rank for , the sites that are there do have page rank and have been there for a while . Now I know it is easy to knock these sites down a notch or two in the short run . The long term replacement will take a little patience .
I can still muster well over 100 visitors a day to selected long tails . I have actually took over and held full pages of yellow root related keywords .
I still have a lot of work to do on the site . Sales pages have never been my cookie but I will work on converting this traffic .
Is yellow root making me a ton of money ? No. It has shown me that local and low competition niches are more profitable and easier to rank in than I ever dreamed possible .
In the last couple of months Internet marketing has really taken off for me but it started with a little yellow root
