we shall remember

A small post where we can place our foot print in the sand, where we can look back and remember / .
Almost 3 years ago on 11/11/07 we started our fist real on-line venture, we had bright eyes and high hopes that jumped with excitement for we were on-line and going to build empires.
Reality had seen that initial spark of hope diminish into a wisp of wavy smoke as good intentions and dreams came burning down around us.
It was without doubt that we made more errors than we ever got anything right, it seemed every thing we touched on-line became another failure.
If failure made us rich we were now wealthy, abundant in our many lessons that seemed to kick us in the belly that little bit harder the more we tried to succeed, the more we failed again.
During a lifetime where you learned to struggle to stay on top and stay in front, little did we know those lessons would carry us through this seemingly endless desert of baron landscape, old rocks and the dust that was flicked into our eyes as we travelled forward.
Like many explorers have done before us, we found if you walk long enough through the heat stench and flies you will look and see the ocean in all it glory, white sandy beaches and an abundance of beauty.
We have rested on the shores of paradise for some time now in a comfort knowing that we can overcome the many obstacles that still lie ahead based on the wisdom of so many failures that we now leave behind as distant memories.
On the 11/11/10 3 years later we now stand prepared to build one of the worlds biggest ocean liners that will see us wave good bye to the land of hard knocks, rocks, flies and dust. We hope to pass your boat on the sea of good fortune as well, if we do, give us a wave and please drop in for a chat and a cool drink.
What is we are about to build ? well that is a secret we will need to keep quiet for now, but in the future we can look back at this footprint in the sand and say, we shall remember where it all started.
