Social Network Empire; aka, SNE & SNEmpire

I wanted to start off by adding a slightly different twist to the phenomenon of social networking.
There are so many sites out there that are creating both massive and general networks and then it seems like they always have sub networks, or niches, built in by the users.
This trend has become a solid testimony to the idea that users WANT their own niches and ways to identify themselves, and people with like minds. They want diversity and a way to stand out from the general search query.
So why not make your own social networking site, for your own niche?
