Blogs and cycles

Although Blogs may appear to be the latest trend, but they really resurrect an older, more traditional way of using the Internet - the exchange of information with a personal touch.
The most important aspect of a Blog is that, like forums and chat rooms, they bring visitors back to your site again and again. Blogs create an audience that will return repeatedly, they help to create a relationship between you and the visitors to your Website.
It comes back to what I wrote before about everything moving in cycles. 2005 was the year blogs suddenly became big. It was hailed as "The Year Of The Blog". Traffic Exchange owners rushed to create new TEs just to surf blogs, some of which are still going today.
A great marketer once wrote:
"In Network Marketing, the NETWORKING always comes before the MARKETING"
For a while it seemed to be the other way round. Now we're getting the personal touch again.
