Everything moves in cycles.
We know this from what scientists tell us about the movement of the stars, and the movements in our bodies, even the weather patterns. Social scientists tell us they can now see and even predict these patterns in social behaviour.
So it is with marketing and sales.
With a recession in the UK, people are spending their money elsewhere. Did you know that in a slump spending on fruit machines goes up? And don't forget all those people who don't go out spending on a Saturday night. 12 million of them rang the X Factor vote line (how much a minute?)
Making money is moving money. It all moves in cycles.
