What you must NEVER do is when you make personal contact with a genuine affiliate is stick them on an autoresponder - that is the fastest way to lose them.
Use an autoresponder for cold leads but ALWAYS include an email address they can write to you at and that you will reply on. Once they become a personal contact NEVER make them a cold lead again.
In the old days - before the Net - all network marketing was done personal - on the phone and face to face. Email is fine - my GL only ever communicates via email - but you do need to get personal with your team as soon as you can - you'll be working together to make money after all.
