It goes without saying that the days of using rich media in our online promotions have arrived and are here to stay.
But why does audio work?
Audio (when done correctly) enhances the user's experience on your site.
Often when we arrive at lengthy sales pages, looking at thousands of words of text ... it feels like work. So many visitors will bounce away without even giving your "copy" a chance.
Audio can be used to encourage them to read on ... by giving them the reasons why they WANT TO READ your message.
When you add audio or video to your sales message, keep it brief (1 to 2 minutes is ideal.)
