Great Mics for voice-over recordings

A question that comes up often among online marketers when they embark on their quest to create quality audio is "what mic should I use"?
There are thousands to choose from, and creating a quality sound isn't a challenge when you know what tools you need.
If you're thinking that it all starts with the microphone, you're almost right. It actually begins with the voice - and how you deliver your tone.
Since every word, every nuance, and every little burp and blip are all recorded, think of the END RESULT that you're working to produce.
For information on which mic you'll need, I posted a blog entry on my audio blog back in August. You can read all about great mics for voice over recordings right here.
Your choice of microphone IS critical. The wrong one - and your audio will sound like it was produced in a tin can. Will THAT motivate buyers to grab their wallets? A poor impression of your professionalism will turn away people in droves - and conversions will suffer.
