free cell phones and how I sell them.

I know that most of you are doing some sort of business online. I am rather new at this and I have a limited budget. I was looking for ways to promote My online business with little success. then I had an idea, You know those annoying fliers people leave on your wind shield? Well believe it or not they work. I went to kinkos and purchased a (500) ream of sun yellow paper for $10.95. printed 500 fliers with two adds per copy ( $45.00 ). cut them in half ($1.50 ). I then went to a couple malls and a few large stores and papered every car there.
Now I do not know if it is legal or not so be careful, I went to the free paper boxes ( little nickle, apartment guides, free weekly papers. etc.) and stuffed a copy of my flier in each one.
I tried adwords and it cost more than I could afford for the little amount of sales I did get. Maybe I'm too impatient but I needed to get some sales to pay for adsense.
For less than $60.00 and about $10.00 in gas, I got 53 sales in 3 days at 25% commission about $530.00. as of this writing I still have adds out there and hope for more sales.
I'm hoping the increased traffic to my site will move My page up in ranks without costing lots of money.
