Lessons Learned: Affiliate Marketing

I started marketing as an affiliate back in 2004.
The first tool I learned to used was to mask my affiliate link as a redirect. Now there are many cool tools that will do this for you for a fee. Redirects still work by the way.
Then I ran traffic to a double optin squeeze page. I used traffic exchanges and safelist. Still do to this day. I also use articles and blogs.
Once I learn how to use my video cam on my new lap top watch out.
Then I was able to market to the subscribers.
Only market to double optins. make sure your content is relevant and useful and you will have less unsubs.
As far as incentives goes, I suggest that every affiliate create there own and not use plr articles as they are. Re-write them or use them as idea generators.

- Your own Creative content
- Allow's subscribers a taste of your voice. This could be in text form, audio or video. The format doesn't matter as long as it is your voice and not a freelance writter like me.
